    I got this recipe from a cookbook called Dr. Sara’s Healthy Home Cooking for Chihuahuas. It’s an E-book that you can download for about six dollars here: http://www.petchidog.com/Home_Cooking.html

    Here’s the recipe for Paco’s Peanut Butter Poppers:

    2 Cups WW flour
    1 Tbsp baking powder
    1 Cup peanut butter, smooth or crunchy
    1 Cup milk

    Mix it all together, knead it a bit, roll it out to .25″ thickness, cut out with cookie cutters and bake at 375 for 20 minutes. I pricked them with a fork… seemed like the right thing to do. I also used buttermilk because that’s all I had on hand. These are very tender and not too crunchy, but they would be crunchier if you rolled them out thinner (like the recipe says) than I did.

    I bet you could sell these at the Farmer’s Market!

    Tweaked the recipe a little…1/2 the powder and beef juice instead of milk. Came out nice and crunchy, the dogs approved, and I sold the whole batch at the market Sat.! Thanks!!
